About HR Professionals Scandinavia

HR Professionals Scandinavia was established in 2009 as an online community and blog. It started as an alumni activity where fellow HR students from the University of Stockholm could stay in touch. The network grew in popularity and now has more than 12,000 members in the HR profession from all across the Nordic region. As the network evolved, the mission evolved too. The primary mission of the network is to fulfil the needs of Human Resources professionals to network, discuss, consult, and exchange ideas with others.

In recent years, HR Professionals Scandinavia operated as a discussion group on LinkedIn. But as the network grew, the platform was not been able to meet the members’ requirements and eventually became limiting. Therefore, in 2015, work began to provide the network its own platform and its own international web address:

On the website you can find:
